Peder Nicolas Paus (born 22 November 1945) is a Norwegian entrepreneur, banker and investor. Paus co-founded Questerre Energy Corporation, where he also is chairman and a major shareholder, an oil company listed on Oslo Stock Exchange and in Canada.〔(Financial Times: ''Questerre Energy Corp QEC:TOR )〕 He became a member of the board in 2000 and chairman in 2006. He has held key positions in the bank Manufacturers Hanover Trust in London and New York.〔 From 1981 to 1995, he was CEO of the shipping company North Ltd Venture in London.
